Nijinsky, Vaslav (1889 - 1950)
An exceptionally rare signed approximately 9" X 7" head and shoulders portrait by Waslav Nijinsky. The dancer is shown in a dramatic half-length pose as a Harlequin from 'Carnaval'. Boldly sigend to a light portion, "Souvenir de Waslaw Nijinsky 1915". A light vertical bend through the upper part of the picture, which does not detract, and one corner slightly chipped. Otherwise in very fine condition.
